AI drafting and medical recordsReviewed
EvenUp alternatives for plaintiff firms
EvenUp is AI demand letters, medical chronologies and outsourced pre-lit for personal injury firms, from small practices to the largest PI firms in the country. Here is what else firms weigh, and what each one is best for.
Why firms look beyond EvenUp
- Cost: EvenUp doesn't publish prices, and third-party reviewers estimate a demand at $500-$800 or more once add-ons are counted (estimates, not EvenUp figures).
- Per-case pricing can mean paying for files that never convert, a point third-party reviewers raise.
- Scope: EvenUp markets personal injury only, so firms with workers' comp or employment dockets need other tools for those cases.
- Turnaround: a competitor reports users seeing demands take several days on busy weeks when review queues back up (a competitor's claim, not verified).
- Some firms want their own staff, inside their own system, to own pre-litigation work rather than an outside pipeline.
The options
- 1.
PlaintiffStack
Case management and AI on one record- Built for
- High-volume plaintiff firms in California: personal injury, workers' comp and employment
- Price
- $250 per case, every app included, no monthly fee. AI usage is billed separately, with an estimate shown before each run.
- Bottom line
- Our own product, listed first because this is our page. It is young and California-only, and it doesn't read scanned records yet.
- 2.
Supio
Agentic AI for medical records, chronologies and demands- Built for
- Personal injury and mass tort plaintiff law firms
- Price
- Supio doesn't publish prices; its site sends buyers to a demo. Third-party roundups describe quote-based pricing, per seat or bundled. Ask for the full cost, including any per-case or volume terms, in writing.
- Bottom line
- Supio is a well-funded AI platform for PI and mass tort firms that works on top of the case management system you already have, with Westlaw research and a strong records and damages product. PlaintiffStack is a younger case management platform for California PI, workers' comp and employment, with AI inside it. Keep your CMS and add Supio if you like your system; consider PlaintiffStack if you want to replace the system and you practice in California.
- 3.
Eve
AI operating layer for plaintiff firms (EveOS)- Built for
- Plaintiff firms in personal injury, employment, medical malpractice, disability and workers' comp
- Price
- Eve doesn't publish prices; its site directs buyers to a demo. Third-party roundups describe per-seat or enterprise quotes. Get the full cost, including agents and intake, in writing.
- Bottom line
- Eve is a fast-growing, well-funded AI platform for plaintiff firms that covers more practice areas than most, including employment, and sits over your existing case management system. PlaintiffStack is a younger case management platform with AI inside it, built only on California rules. Eve suits firms that want broad AI agents across a national practice; PlaintiffStack suits California firms that want the system of record and its AI in one place at a published price.
- 4.
Finch
AI-assisted outsourced pre-litigation team- Built for
- Personal injury firms that want to outsource pre-litigation work
- Price
- Finch prices per case, scaled by volume and scope, and doesn't publish figures. It lists no per-record fee for medical records. Pilots typically run 30 to 45 days.
- Bottom line
- Finch is a service: US-based intake specialists, case managers and demand writers, supported by AI, who run pre-litigation for PI firms. PlaintiffStack is software your own staff use to run California PI, workers' comp and employment cases. If you want to add pre-lit capacity without hiring, Finch is built for that; if you want your team to own the work with better tools, look at PlaintiffStack.
- 5.
Filevine
Configurable case management with the LOIS AI suite- Built for
- Law firms of many sizes and practice types, legal teams and agencies, with personal injury among its core markets
- Price
- Not published: Filevine quotes each firm by headcount and modules. Third-party estimates put seats at roughly $65 to $100 per user per month and implementation at $5,000 to $20,000, and comparisons say AI tools such as MedChron are sold as add-ons. A free LOIS tier, LOIS Explore, launched in July 2026.
- Bottom line
- Filevine is a mature, deeply configurable platform with a large partner network, a SOC 2 Type II audit and a fast-growing AI suite. PlaintiffStack is younger and narrower: California PI, workers' comp and employment on one record, page-cited AI and a published per-case price. Choose Filevine for configurability and multi-state reach; choose PlaintiffStack for California depth and a simpler price.
- 6.
CaseMark
Usage-priced AI for litigation documents (Para)- Built for
- Litigation teams and attorneys across practice areas, plus court reporters
- Price
- CaseMark publishes its prices. Para is $20 per seat a month on Standard and $100 on Pro, with seat fees credited to a usage wallet and extra usage billed at cost; Enterprise is by agreement. Medical summaries are $25 plus $0.01 per page, capped at $100 for up to 25,000 pages, with larger sets quoted.
- Bottom line
- CaseMark is an inexpensive, horizontal AI tool for litigation documents, with published per-seat and per-page prices that are hard to beat for medical summaries. PlaintiffStack is a case management system for California PI, workers' comp and employment with AI case tools inside it. Firms that only need cheap, cited first drafts should look at CaseMark; firms that want the case and its deadlines in one place should look at PlaintiffStack.
- 7.
ProPlaintiff
AI demands, chronologies and agentic case management for PI- Built for
- Personal injury firms, from solo practices to larger firms
- Price
- As of October 21, 2026, ProPlaintiff's pricing page offers a demo rather than listed plans. Earlier third-party roundups reported plans starting at $99 a month for one seat; confirm current pricing with the company.
- Bottom line
- ProPlaintiff and PlaintiffStack are both young, AI-first platforms that combine case management with drafting. ProPlaintiff is aimed squarely at personal injury, with an AI paralegal, demand and chronology tools and video analysis. PlaintiffStack is narrower geographically (California only) but ships workers' comp and employment as full practices, at a published per-case price.
Choosing an alternative to EvenUp
Supio and Eve are the other heavily funded plaintiff AI platforms. Finch runs an outsourced pre-lit team like PLAAS. CaseMark and ProPlaintiff are lower-cost tools. Filevine builds demands into its own case management system, and PlaintiffStack is a California case management platform with AI inside.
Eve lists employment and workers' comp among the practices it serves, and CaseMark lists workers' comp for medical summaries. PlaintiffStack ships California workers' comp and employment with their own case tools and deadline checks.
CaseMark publishes usage pricing for medical summaries ($25 plus $0.01 a page, capped at $100 up to 25,000 pages). PlaintiffStack is $250 per case with case management included, plus metered AI usage. Compare on total cost per resolved case, not per document.
